Games that offer a unique experience are a surefire way to grab people’s attention. The games may be based off of an existing style or genre, but they must offer something new, such as complementary tools like wild rift elo boost. Here some exciting games that probably you haven’t played before.
1. Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Ubisoft has promised that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be “a love letter to the series’ originals”. The game will take the series back to its parkour and stealth roots, and move away from the open-worlds of recent games like Odyssey or Valhalla.
Basim, a cunning thief who has nightmarish visions and seeks justice in the streets of Baghdad during the ninth century, is your character. You will blend in with the crowd, track targets from rooftop positions, and lay traps with a variety of new tools. These will include the ability to slow down time, a sniper mode, and an array of social stealth abilities that will allow you to conceal yourself among a crowd. You will also have access to a new range of upgradable Assassin’s Tools, including the ability to assassinate multiple targets at once and the capacity to place gas mines on the ground to stop pursuers.
According to Stephane Boudon of the creative director, Assassin’s Creed’s fans wanted a smaller and character-driven experience. He claims that Assassin’s Creed has become so big that it sometimes feels like the open world is bloated. The game is going to be smaller, but will still have the same amazing art style and gameplay.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is due to be released in 2023 and will cost $50. Preorders will unlock the supernatural-themed 40 Thieves addon for free. Ubisoft also announced that this game will be sold cross-gen and will support Xbox One PS4 and PC. It will run on Unreal Engine 4 so it’s sure to look stunning.
2. Dead Island 2
After more than 10 years of development, Dead Island 2 finally made its debut in 2013. It’s not the game that Techland and publisher Koch Media hoped it would be, and it isn’t as slick or immersive as the original, but there are still some good points.
First of all, it looks great. The developers have added many small touches to the spaces in Los Angeles. From the claustrophobic hive of a content creator’s bedroom to the empty puddles that can be electrified to trap zombies, each area is carefully and meticulously constructed. The graphics are also impressive; the PS5 version runs smoothly at 60 FPS, without any noticeable lag.
But it’s a real shame that the game’s gameplay doesn’t match its visuals. The core loop, which involves upgrading weapons in safehouses before bludgeoning the zombies to a gory pulp, is not exciting. The frenetic combat is easy to pick up, but the repetitive nature of the cycle will quickly become grating, and the addition of new enemies doesn’t change the formula much.
The genre of action-adventure has evolved since 2012. The design is outdated, despite attempts to introduce new features like the ability of using the environment to your benefit (shooting tanks that are flammable or leading the zombies to a puddle filled with electric water). This is exacerbated because other games, such as Assassin’s Creed Origins and The Last of Us, have done a much better job with similar ideas. And when you are good at gaming, it would be very likely that you’d do well playing fedoraunityแทงบอลออนไลน์ แนะนำเว็บแทงบอลแทงบอลออนไลน์มือถือ online as well.
3. Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda fans are savoring every moment of the latest entry in the series. The game has been praised for its open world, Link’s impressive new abilities, and improvements over its previous version that make the gameplay feel refreshing without disrupting its established formula.
Tears of the Kingdom is a rare game that has received perfect scores from the UK’s Edge and Japan’s Famitsu. Both publications lauded the game’s enormous open world, fun physics-based systems and engaging new gameplay elements.
Tears of the Kingdom is set after the events in Breath of the Wild and finds Zelda uncovering a strange buried horror under Hyrule, which triggers cataclysmic changes in the world around her. Nintendo’s cryptic teaser for the game only features Zelda exploring a cavern as tendrils of dark creep in. However, the company has promised more information about the storyline in future trailers.
In addition to a massive expansion of Hyrule’s landscape, this game adds to the depth of the franchise’s mechanics with a revamped fusion system that allows players to create powerful tools and weapons from parts found in the environment. For example, combining a fragile branch with a solid boulder will transform it into a weapon capable of enduring multiple attacks.
As in previous Zelda games, this one requires an investment of time and effort to unlock its secrets. Nintendo’s latest adventure rewards players for exploring the world by awarding them with Light of Blessing Orbs that help extend their stamina and hearts of life. Those orbs are also used to purchase new armor, shields and other accessories in the game’s many shops.
4. Alan Wake 2
After a troubled development it was difficult to get excited for a sequel. The news that Remedy was working on a new adventure brought excitement to fans.
While the company has been working on other projects, like the aforementioned remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2, it seems to be focusing on this one. In a February investors report, it was stated that the sequel was “pretty much complete.” This would suggest that it could be released this year.
Sam Lake, the creative director of the game, recently released a video update on it. Ilkka Villi (voice and physical appearance of Alan), Matthew Porretta, and Sam Lake discussed the game and showed off some concept artwork. Lake explained that Alan Wake 2 will be a much darker experience, and that the game will be Remedy’s first survival horror.
He also revealed that the new game will take place after the Control DLC, which introduced his doppelganger, Mr. Scratch, but that the previous game’s ending isn’t required to understand it. He also revealed that the game was being developed with their proprietary Northlight Engine, which he said makes it their best-looking video game to date.
We don’t know a specific date for the release, but we do know it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC via Epic Games Store. You can keep up with news on the game by following Remedy’s dedicated website for it, or by checking out our previous coverage of the franchise.
5. Armored Core VI
FromSoftware’s new game, Armored Core, is the first new Armored Core title since 2013. But that doesn’t stop fans from getting their mecha fix. The developer of Dark Souls and Sekiro is working on a new mecha-combat title, which will be released in August. This was announced at The Game Awards, last year. Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon will be released for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X
The game’s director, Masaru Yamamura, has revealed a few details on the project, including how customizable your mech will be. You can choose every component of your robot to create a unique design, which should provide you with lots of options and challenges. For example, you might want a lot of firepower, but that could decrease your movement speed or how fast you can fly and boost.
One of the big draws to this game, though, will be its massive boss battles. Yamamura said in an interview with IGN that Armored Core VI would feature a “rich diversity of powerful enemies” ranging from giant creatures to smaller ones which you can carry into battle. That’s a good sign for players who enjoyed last year’s Elden Ring, which also had some epic fights with some truly gigantic monsters.
Yamamura is known for his work with FromSoftware and this latest project from the mech-shooter sounds like a continuation of the studio’s history of challenging games that reward precision and patience. If you’re eager to hop into a giant mech and take on some deadly enemies, you won’t have long to wait: Yamamura has confirmed that Armored Core VI will release on August 25.
