That may be the most ambitious 3D project coming from Japan right now! Director Koji Morimoto (Magnetic Rose, Dimension Bomb…) is working on Ambient Love, an experience where imagination meets love meets music. Seems like the japanese 3D version of Disney’s Fantasia. And it’s not the only 3D project from Morimoto: the long awaited Sachiko!
The japanese website White Spirit had the opportunity to talk to Morimoto & Eiko Tanaka about the production of 3D animated features, the article is in japanese (translation needed) but at least we learn Morimoto’s favourite film is… Tarkovsky’s Stalker!
